A Musical by William Finn
A comical musical about a
composer named Gordan who faces a dramatic health crisis. At the
time when he is struck by illness, he is reluctantly composing a
song for a children's television show featuring a frog (Mr.
Bungee). The specter of this large green character and the
unfinished work haunts him throughout his medical ordeal.
Gordan learns to appreciate life's precious moments, and finds
new inspiration to compose the songs he yearns to produce

This fall, we conducted our
first-ever search for composers of original works of musical
theatre. In partnership with the New York Musical Theatre
Festival, we presented a selection of new songs at Mezzo Mezzo
in Astoria on September 15TH, 16TH and 17th.
