Seeking strong AEA/Non-Union actors of all races.

[MRS. LILY MORTAR] female, age 45. A florid woman with touched up hair. She is an extravagant (and annoying) ex-actress who demands authority and attention at all times and relentlessly frustrated that she doesn’t receive it.

[KAREN WRIGHT] female, late 20s-early 30s. Attractive, casually pleasant in manner, without sacrifice of warmth or dignity.

[MARTHA DOBIE] female, late 20s-early 30s.  Plain but pretty; nervous and high-strung but visibly works to keep it contained.

[MRS. AMELIA TILFORD] female, age 60. A large, dignified woman with a pleasant strong face. Reserved and over-protective of her family.

[DOCTOR JOSEPH CARDIN] male, age 35.  Pleasant-looking, carelessly dressed; good humored and accommodating.

[AGATHA] female, age 45-55; Mrs. Tilford’s sharp-faced maid, not youthful in age or in attitude.

Seeking actresses age 16-20 to play the school girls:

[MARY TILFORD] female. Undistinguished looking, not pretty or ugly. A permanent sullen expression on her face; deceitful, outcast, spoiled by her grandmother; a bully.

[PEGGY ROGERS] female.  Bored by and has no talent in drama - wants to be a veterinarian; tries to be strong in the face of injustice, but ultimately chooses self-protection.

[ROSALIE WELLS] female. Loves sweets and probably a bit overweight. Loves dressing up and is especially boy crazy.

[EVELYN MUNN] female. Wants to be on everyone’s good side.

[LOIS FISHER] female. Struggles with Latin; nervous and eager to impress people.

[HELEN BURTON] female. Her bracelet is the one that’s missing.

[CATHERINE] female. Smart; school comes easily to her and she’s not humble about it.

[JANET] female. Well behaved; the seamstress.

[LESLIE] female. Quiet; studious.
