Seeking Props Designer [Stipend Pay]

We’re looking for a Props Designers for our upcoming AEA showcase production (approval pending) of BILLY WITCH by Gregory S. Moss. Director: Erik Pearson. Set Designer: Tim Brown, Lighting Designer: Marie Yokoyama.

Important dates:

Rehearsals begin 10/4 for 4 weeks (evenings and weekends)

10/22 - Light Hang, 9a-6p

10/23- Light Hang, 9a-11p

10/24- Light Focus, 9a-6p

10/25-10/29- Tech & Working Notes

10/30 & 10/31- Dress & Working Notes

11/1-11/3- Previews

11/18- Strike, 3-11p

Job will also include production meetings TBD

Seeking:

Props Designer will be a qualified, well-organized and creative individual. The designer will work directly with the Set Designer, Director and PSM to create and maintain an accurate prop list, source all props and assist the set designer with dressing the set. Job will include on-site time at rehearsal and production meetings, as well as time spent shopping/sourcing material. Must be a creative problem solver with an ability to work in a budget.

This job is for stipend pay only, but is an excellent opportunity to make connections and work on an exciting project.
