2008 NY IT AWARD NOMINATION:
Outstanding Set Design (Michael P. Kramer)
November 2-18, 2007
EQUITY APPROVED SHOWCASE
Set in contemporary Chicago, Proof tells the story of Catherine, a young woman who questions whether the talent she may have inherited from her father comes with the mental illness that plagued him. When a revolutionary proof surfaces, the mystery of its authorship brings all questions to a head. Paced as a thriller and infused with crisp humor throughout, the real drama hinges on the dynamics between the play’s four characters. In 2001, Proof was honored with a Pulitzer Prize as well as a Tony Award. In 2005, a movie version was released, starring Gwyneth Paltrow.

Busser fares best as the industrious Hal; he brings a winning, loose-limbed charm to the nerdy student who is determined to be cool.” -OffOffOnline.com
