Alice Renier Alice is an actor, teacher, and acting coach who specializes in working with heightened text. She has worked with dozens of Shakespeare plays as both an actor and a coach. She has facilitated workshops in countless schools throughout New York City, and served as a resident teaching artist for The Public Theater, Classic Stage Company, Red Bull Theater, and Acting Out!. Recently, she coached the first Broadway national tour of Bandstand, the national tour of American Girl: Live!, and Columbia University’s Young Company production of Romeo and Juliet. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Columbia University, holds a degree in Musical Theatre from the University of Tampa, and is a graduate of the National Theatre Institute. Her philosophy is grounded in a playful approach to performance and text. We call it a play… so play!
